Paul Wilkins Wilkins Law

Paul Wilkins

Paul has been a successful litigation attorney for fifteen years. Paul started his career at the County of Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, where he gained significant courtroom experience trying cases as a criminal prosecutor. Then he moved to San Mateo County, where he joined a criminal defense practice and developed strong connections in the local legal community. Having a desire to broaden his litigation experience, Paul joined a trust and estate firm in the Bay Area where he again found himself in the courtroom advocating for his clients and fighting for the property they were entitled to.

Experienced in both criminal and civil litigation, Paul started Wilkins Law in 2016. Wilkins Law has allowed Paul to use his vast experience and long-standing relationships among Bay Area courts and judges to advocate for a broader group of people who have been forced to put their lives on hold.

Paul is an active member of the legal community and belongs to and holds offices in several organizations.

Megan Wilkins

Megan has been practicing law since 2006. Megan began working as a Deputy District Attorney in San Mateo County. There she was assigned a variety of misdemeanor and felony cases which dealt with crimes including domestic violence, identity theft and attempted murder. Megan was in the courtroom everyday either arguing before a jury or advocating before a judge. She developed close relationships with judges, attorneys and court staff.

After ten years at the District Attorney’s Office, Megan decided to use her experience in the courtroom to help those who were trying to get their lives back on track and joined Wilkins Law. Megan specializes in record clearance, specifically expungements, arrest record sealing, and certificates of rehabilitation and pardons.

Megan understands how debilitating a prior conviction can be on a person’s ability to secure employment, housing or trade certifications. She works closely with her clients to successfully argue why the requested relief should be granted and draws on her experience as a prosecutor to tailor her advocacy to ensure the outcome her clients deserve.
